Recent multibillion-dollar deals involving tech giants like OpenAI, Nvidia, and Oracle have sparked comparisons to the 2000 Dot-Com Bubble. Hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones warns the current market could be "more potentially explosive" than 1999, citing concentrated tech dominance in the S&P 500.

The index now shows 35% weighting in tech stocks versus 15% in 1999, raising concerns about overreliance on a handful of companies. "If any one of these deals falls through, it has this domino effect downstream," notes Zacks Investment Management's Brian Mulberry, drawing parallels to the telecom crash of the mid-1990s.
